RSFF News

[I’ve read the news today…oh boy…no news from this front.]

May 2011

We launched the LFDS hybrid design tool in Design Education. We immersed over ninety (90)  students in design interaction in conjunction with the LFDS. They were grouped in pairs to accomplish a specific design task. Apart from the keeness, curiosity and enjoyment the students made hundreds of speedy iterations and instances. We will post some of the results at later date this site.

Robert will present his paper about Novel Approach in Custom Value Engineering during the WINVR2011 Conference in Milan, Italy end of June. We’ll keep you notified.

April 2011

Laval Virtual 2011 was superb, we demoed the LFDS for three days during the Pro-Exhibition resulting in great response and enthusiasm of the visitors. Robert presented his paper during the  VRIC2011 about Cognition, Intuition and Interaction Design. All in all great experience, great time and harmonious work.

February 2011

Our contribution to VRIC2011, Virtual Laval in France, has been accepted! We will keep you posted.

January 2011

Our Video contribution on LFDS  to the IEEE VR2011 Conference in Singapore has been accepted!  Instead of writing another paper on the Hybrid Design Tool we decided to present a video on our [re]search endeavors and experimentations. Good start of the new year…! Nice going!

RSFF is working

November 5th, 2010

We did a Value Engineering session at ProRail in Utrecht with our LFDS Design Tool, impressive and exciting event with a variety in stakeholders working on a real life Project Alkmaar. This next generation of Railway stations 2015  will incorporate new visions on traffic flows of  passengers, commercial areas and infra-structural traffic systems.

For more information see the post on the home page.

September 27th – October 1st, 2010

During the JVRC 2010 (Joint Virtual Reality Conference) in Stuttgart, Robert E. Wendrich will  be presenting and demonstrating a prototype of the LFDS [Loosely Fitted Design Synthesizer]. He will also present first results of working with the LFDS in a real world case-based scenario for ProRail [Dutch National Railway] in the Netherlands.
